What healthy growth looks like: most newborn puppies gain roughly 5-10% of their birth weight per day and about double their birth weight in the first 7-10 days. Weigh at the same time each day on the same scale. Any weight loss over 24 hours, or no gain over 48 hours, deserves a vet call, especially in the first two weeks.
